What does the founding rate include?
Everything in Dough — same product, same features. Founding members lock $50/month for the lifetime of their account. Once the founding cohort fills, new accounts pay $100/month standard.
Why $50 founding instead of free?
Free trials don't tell us if the product is delivering enough value to be worth real budget. $50/month means founding members are buying with intent — and locking lifetime value at the same time. Plus a 14-day free trial up front, no credit card required, so you can verify the product works before committing.
Why BYO Claude?
Inference costs scale with usage. We don't want to mark them up. You control the model, your usage, your costs. As Claude gets better, Dough gets better — without us shipping new code.
Can I use OpenAI or another model instead of Claude?
Not at launch. Dough is Anthropic-native and MCP-native. We may expand model support later if there's clear demand from the founding cohort.
What if I don't have a philosophy yet?
Start by connecting Shopify and dropping whatever you already have — financials, plans, decisions, notes. Dough's substrate-parser sorts them. Your philosophy emerges from your decisions and overrides as you use the product. You don't have to formalize anything to get value.
Can my whole team use Dough?

What about my data?
Encrypted at rest. Never sold. Cross-merchant intelligence is opt-in only (year 2 feature). Full export anytime.
